About Us

Preeti Mutha

Welcome to our dance academy! I am excited to share my passion and experience with you. With over 12 plus years of teaching expertise, I specialize in Bollywood dance and Indian folk styles, including Garba and Ghoomar.
While I hold a Chartered Accountant degree and have built a professional career in finance, dance has always been my heart’s true calling. Over the years, I’ve performed at cultural events across the UK and India, showcasing the rich heritage of Indian dance. I’ve also choreographed for weddings, sangeets, baby showers, and other celebrations, helping create unforgettable moments through the joy of dance.
For me, dance is more than just movement—it’s a universal language of self-expression, connection, and celebration. It builds confidence, fosters creativity, and inspires unity. Through this academy, I aim to provide a supportive and vibrant space where students can explore their potential, embrace their individuality, and experience the magic of dance.
Whether mastering a new step, performing on stage, or simply enjoying the journey, my goal is to inspire students to feel the joy and empowerment that dance brings. Together, we’ll celebrate every achievement and grow as dancers and individuals. Let’s embark on this incredible journey of rhythm, expression, and celebration—creating memories, building confidence, and spreading the joy of dance!

Chaitrali Chitre

With over 16 plus years of experience in the performing arts, I am a passionate classical Bharatnatyam dancer, choreographer, and mentor. Dance has always been more than just an art form to me. Dance has been my lifelong devotion—a form of worship and a medium to inspire and connect with people across cultures.
Specializing in Bharatnatyam, Indian folk, semi-classical, and Bollywood dance styles, I have had the privilege of performing nationally and internationally, showcasing the rich heritage of Indian dance on prestigious platforms. Beyond performing, I am committed to nurturing budding talent, creating opportunities for children and young artists to discover their potential and passion for dance.
As a choreographer, I have designed and directed over 100 plus performances, blending tradition with creativity and earning recognition on global stages. Alongside my artistic journey, I hold a Master’s degree in arts, international business management, and in Yog, which complements my approach to dance, bringing harmony between body, mind, and spirit.
My dedication to community service has earned me several accolades, including the esteemed Points of Light award from the UK Prime Minister for my voluntary contributions, the Covhero Award in Coventry Westmidlands U.K. and recognition as the *People’s Choice” for the BBC 21 Coventry City of Culture. My work has also been featured on platforms like BBC, Geo TV, and in various newspapers and magazines, which has further motivated me to continue inspiring others through my journey.
For me, dance is more than just an art form—it is a way to celebrate life, preserve culture, and inspire the next generation. Through my journey, I strive to bring the transformative power of dance to as many lives as possible.
For me, dance is not just an art—it is a way of life.
Raga and rhythm have always been close to my heart, fueling my dream of creating a dance academy where passionate dancers can come together under one roof to learn and celebrate their chosen art forms. The name Raga and Rhythm embodies this vision—it represents the cadence that unknowingly keeps me alive and connected to my purpose.
